Bug Description
When trying to access https:/
This is a bit problematic as we're using the LP API to automatically trigger builds for core snaps whenever the archive contents change, and this is now broken when trying to consider core20.

Some extra info about this: /oops.canonical .com/oops/ ?oopsid= OOPS-096053e0ee 52e9c2fd745b32c f7f1b65 - unfortunately, the error is not very verbose.
- Making the API request logged in (`lp-shell production`) seems to work. But the same request from an anonymous shell (`lp-shell -a production`) raises.
