Thanks a lot for your work on this. Do you think you could forward this change to Debian instead? It'd be great if we could avoid introducing a delta between Ubuntu and Debian and instead just sync the package from Debian. http://developer.ubuntu.com/packaging/html/fixing-a-bug-example.html should give you some pointers on how to do that.

@Daniel: ok, I will send the patch upstream, but please, once again, we/you should be more clear in the wiki :)
For example I did understand this: someone fix the bug, send the merge proposal trough Launchpad, THEN ALSO submit the patch upsetram to Debian. I would have saved all the Ubuntu part if I had known to send the patch directly using "submittodebian" ;)

Right, we only want these fixes to go to Debian. It's just a waste of time, both for the person creating the MP, as well as for sponsors, to have Ubuntu merge proposals for these trivial fixes.
