client: make the fencing functions on MirBuffer an extension. The fence functionality is useful for android, could be useful for mesa one day, and are not useful for eglstreams, so the functionality is better as an extension.

GoogleTest warns that the default death test implementation is unsafe in the presence of threads, such as appear frequently in all our death tests.

Simplify SurfaceMap's single object functions.

Also make them safer and more powerful by replacing raw pointers with
shared pointers. That's the reason I need this - to get a shared
pointer.
