Per this week's discussion, for now we have decided to use the generic kernel for this device. The GPU firmware is not required for the device to boot and I have been told that it can be included in linux-firmware if we get a +1 on the license. That being said, I'm a bit worried since linux-firmware is in main, but maybe I don't have the full context here.

Anyway, the kernel snap for the model needs changing.

The GPU firmware may not be required for boot, but how else can it be made available to the system except via the kernel snap? Should finalizing this model be dependent on the +1 on the license?
