Created by Dustin Kirkland  and last modified

Splash images can cause a number of problems on various displays. For this reason, we do not use an Ubuntu splash image by default. However, on many systems, splash images work without problems. This branch includes a simple, Ubuntu logo with a black background which is suitable for a grub splash image, as well as the accompanying lines in the default menu.lst (commented out).
